PMS Codes: Mysterious, Yet Specific

Although our color palette is fairly comprehensive, you may be looking for something even more specific or custom. Well, custom is what we do best. Here's how to use PMS codes to make the best custom t-shirts possible.

What Are PMS Codes?

PMS stands for Pantone Matching System. It is a standardized system that aids in color matching by assigning codes (usually comprised of 3-4 numeric digits plus a letter) to nearly every shade of every color. There are thousands of them, and you can find charts online. If your custom design color is very specific, or is part of a brand logo, etc, you may want to find the PMS code to match it.

How Do I Order Them?

When you're placing your order you will be asked to specify your colors on the Additional Instructions page. What you're going to do is select our colors from the menu, but then specify the PMS codes you want in the Notes on that same page. Just say which of our colors corresponds with with PMS code, and our graphic artist will replace them for you. You will be charged a $5 fee per color matched. ($5 per color on your entire order and not per shirt.)
