Hello internet! Welcome to the ooshirts blog debut of yours truly, Sam, newest hire here at ooshirts. I figure it would be unspeakably rude of me to jump into this relationship without first introducing myself. After all, you were nice enough to meet me here at this lovely page (I hear they have great hors d’oeuvres). So about me. I come to this wondrous land of Berkeley, California a weary traveler from the south of this Golden State, specifically the Inland Empire. Admittedly, this would have been a totally lame place to live, save it’s one redeeming contribution to my life: I attended the illustrious San Dimas High School. Sadly, I never met the Ataris; they filmed Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure in Arizona, although San Dimas does have a fantastic Circle K franchise; and our football did not “rule.” What can you do. I was unconcerned though, ’cause I lettered in badminton.
Then I went to UC Berkeley and studied philosophy. Whatever. And now I’m here! Things we can talk about: Green Lantern. I love Green Lantern! I just got into the DC multiverse in the last month or so. Sinestro Corps war was amazing. Blackest Night is all right. I’ll let you know how Crisis on Infinite Earths is when I get to it. The New 52 have welcomed me with open arms. Also, standup comedy. I tell jokes on stage (read: I wasn’t hugged enough as a child, so now I beg for validation from crowds of strangers). That’s fun. Finally, I have the cutest 6 year old sister anyone could ever ask for. If you think she might not be the cutest girl in the world, well then you’re WRONG. Secret: I applied to work here so I could get her a discount on the cutest Thanksgiving-themed hoodie. I’m a regular Lex Luthor.
